The Hondash Bluetooth scanner interface for OBD1, OBD2A, and OBD2B vehicles allows a simple way to view/datalog through your Bluetooth device. The Hondash Bluetooth scanner is an interface device that connects to the 3-pin DLC connector and sends the bluetooth communication from your ECU to your bluetooth enabled device. This is an excellent option for datalogging from stock, non modified ECU's to view live sensor data!
How does it work?
The Hondash unit plugs into the 3 pin diagnostic link connector on your vehicle (see your vehicle's manual for the specific location on your vehicle as each vehicle location may be different). The Hondash unit then sends out a bluetooth signal with your sensor info. Pair this with your bluetooth device to view live sensor data using your favorite app!
Important notes:
The Hondash unit only works on ECU's that are NOT setup to datalog. This device is designed for use on stock ECU's. If you are using an OBD1 ECU that has datalogging enabled (ie: Hondata S300, Neptune/Demon, etc.) this will not work as the ECU no longer sends data to the DLC. If you have an OBD1 chipped ECU, this will work as long as the J12 jumper is still intact and datalogging is NOT enabled on the chip.
