Honda ECU Boost Control Solenoid Wiring Instructions
Wiring an electronic boost control solenoid to your ECU can be completed easily. You will spend more time routing the wires than making the connections.
It is easiest to route both wires from the boost control solenoid through your firewall and down to your ECU. Be sure to use a rubber grommet or some other method to protect the wires where they pass through the firewall.
For USDM OBD1 ECU's:
For JDM OBD1 ECU's:

For USDM OBD1 ECU's:
- Connect one wire from your boost control solenoid to the wire going to ECU pin A25. Do not cut the wire, simply "tap" into it. This is your boost control solenoid's +12v switched power source. Be sure to solder and heat shrink the connection.
- Connect the other wire to ECU pin A11 on your ECU. This is your PWM signal output. Pin A11 uses a small OBD1 ECU pin. We have these available to order here: OBD1 Small ECU pins.
For JDM OBD1 ECU's:
- Connect one wire from your boost control solenoid to the wire going to ECU pin A26. This is your boost control solenoid's ground source. Do not cut the wire going to pin A26, simply "tap" into it. Be sure to solder and heat shrink the connection.
- Connect the other wire to ECU pin A17 on your ECU. This is your PWM signal output. Pin A17 is a small OBD1 ECU pin. We have these available to order here: OBD1 Small ECU pins.
For K Series ECU's with Hondata Kpro or KTuner End-User:
- Connect one wire from your boost control solenoid to the wire going to ECU pin A2. Do not cut the wire, simply "tap" into it. This is your boost control solenoid's +12v switched power source. Be sure to solder and heat shrink the connection.
- Connect the other wire to ECU pin B21 on your ECU. This is your PWM signal output. Pin B21 uses an 02-06 K Series ECU pin. We have these available to order here: K Series 02-06 ECU pin
